It is our great pleasure to invite you to participate at the 11th KÉPAF Conference of the Hungarian Association for Image Processing and Pattern Recognition. The conference is organized biannually; the next event will take place between Tuesday, January 24th, 2017 and Friday, January 27th, 2017 in Sovata, Romania.

The KÉPAF conference is the premier venue to meet and interact with the Hungarian computer vision and image processing research community. The conference covers all topics of image processing and pattern recognition. At this conference special emphasis will be given to recent subjects undergoing intense study, e.g., deep learning, scene understanding and 3D reconstruction for automotive applications. Special attention will be given to foster the collaboration between academia and industry; to explore the synergies between theoretical research and real-world applications. Thus, we also organize an industrial session for discussions and an exhibition area for demonstrations.

Finally, KÉPAF 2017 is the ideal place for your company to meet with talented graduate and PhD students, experienced researchers, professors, and R&D decision-makers in the field of computer vision. Furthermore, it is a great opportunity to learn about the latest algorithms and their outcomes, and more importantly, to build personal relationships that could shape future collaboration and joint projects.
